(01 — FOOD, DRINK & HOSPITALITY)
DESIGNED TO
BE REMEMBERED.
The care you put into your food should be felt before the first taste. I create original brand identities for restaurants, bakeries, patisseries and coffee shops, translating the character of your business into a visual language your customers can recognise and remember.
In a crowded market, good design needs to do more than look the part. It should make your offer clear, communicate your standards and give people a compelling reason to choose you. From a menu in someone’s hands to a takeaway box on the street, every detail is an opportunity to build recognition.
(02 — PROCESS)
STEP 01.
Discovery & direction
We begin with your story, food, audience and ambitions. Research into your competitors and positioning helps establish a clear creative brief for the brand.
STEP 02.
Original concepts
I develop three custom logo directions, exploring different ways to express your character. Each route is presented with its rationale and potential in use.
STEP 03.
Refine & build
We refine the selected direction, then develop the typography, colour palette and supporting visual elements into a coherent identity system.
STEP 04.
Apply & launch
The identity extends into the agreed menus, packaging, print and digital materials. Final artwork, source files and usage guidance prepare the brand for everyday use.

(04 — YOUR BUSINESS)
Restaurants & dining
From a neighbourhood restaurant to a more elevated dining concept, the identity should express the cuisine, atmosphere and point of view. Menus, signage and digital design bring that experience together.
Bakeries & patisseries
A brand that communicates the care behind the craft. Identity, printed matter and packaging can turn a daily purchase or a special occasion box into a recognisable part of your story.
Coffee shops & cafés
Build recognition across the everyday moments: the shopfront, the cup, the loyalty card and the menu. A flexible visual system helps your café feel consistent as its offer grows.
Food & drink products
For products sold beyond the counter, packaging needs a clear hierarchy and a distinctive visual presence. The brand system should work across flavours, formats and future additions.
(05 — IN PRACTICE)
ARTISAN BAKERY · CLIENT PROJECT
Ami Lou Bake House
A French-inspired artisan bakery called for a visual identity rooted in craft and authenticity. The resulting logo, graphic system and printed applications were designed to mix and work together across the way the bakery dresses, packages and displays its products.
Logo design / Packaging design / Branded collateral
JAPANESE RESTAURANT · SELF-INITIATED CONCEPT
Katzui
A contemporary Japanese restaurant concept built around appreciation for ocean life and a more considered approach to seafood. The visual direction brings unusual ingredients to the foreground, connecting the identity, menus and product photography through one distinctive narrative.

(06 — WORKING TOGETHER)
Launching something new, rebranding an established venue or extending an existing identity? The work is scoped around what your business actually needs.
Start with the identity
Establish the logo and core visual system that will guide every application.
Build the full experience
Connect the identity with menus, packaging, collateral and the website.
Develop what comes next
Extend an established brand into a new product, seasonal menu or location.
(07 — FAQ)
Can you work on a new opening or an existing business?
Both. For a new opening, the focus is on establishing a distinctive foundation. For an existing business, we look at what customers already recognise, what needs to evolve and how the refreshed identity will work in practice.
Do I need a full rebrand to improve my menus or packaging?
Not always. If your existing identity provides a strong foundation, the project can focus on specific applications. I review the current materials first so the scope addresses the actual problem.
Can you design the identity and website together?
Yes. Handling both allows the website to develop from the same creative direction as the brand, with consistent typography, colour and visual character across print and digital.
What will I receive at handover?
The agreed final artwork and source files, with suitable vector, print and digital exports. For an identity project, usage guidance explains how to use the logo, typography, colour and supporting elements consistently.
Can the system accommodate seasonal menus or new products?
Yes. We plan the agreed templates and visual rules around the ways your business is likely to use them, so future additions feel connected to the original identity.
How are timing and fees agreed?
After discussing your brief, I outline the deliverables, stages, schedule and fee. The scope is agreed before design begins, with review points throughout the project.
